NOTE: Patient symptoms, date of symptom onset, travel history, and tick exposure MUST be included on the requisition. NOTE: Results should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical symptoms and exposure history. The risk for Lyme Disease in Saskatchewan remains low. Absent NOTE: All indeterminate and positive results are referred to the National Microbiology Lab (NML) for confirmatory testing. Once completed, confirmatory test results are provided on a separate report from the initial screening results. NOTE: Confirmed positive results are reported to a Medical Health Officer.
