Specimen	Collection Procedure
2 mL Serum (SST)	Serum (SST): Collect blood in serum separator vacutainer (SST). Centrifuge. NOTE: A single SST tube is usually sufficient for testing of: HCV Ab, HIV Ag/Ab Combo, and Syphilis serology in combination. NOTE: Minimum total blood volume for neonates is 1 mL. Collect blood in serum separator vacutainer (SST). Centrifuge.

Reference Values:

Syphilis Antibody Screen: Negative or Reactive
RPR: Non-Reactive or Reactive (1:1, 1:2, 1:4....>1:512)
TPPA: Non-Reactive, Indeterminate, Reactive or Repeat Reactive
